Professional Profile At the onset of my career, I had wonderful role models and mentors who saw potential in me, encouraged and supported me through challenging education periods. Those same mentors also encouraged me to go back to school to get my master’s degree to prepare me for future opportunities. As a master’s prepared. seasoned registered nurse, I draw upon my experiences with a goal to influence the level of care that people do receive both now and in the future. My academic journey has equipped me with strong research, analytical, and communication skills. I am Adept at collecting and interpreting integral data and strive to increase accuracy and efficiency. I have solid familiarity with rehabilitation and restorative techniques. I have a profound knowledge of the Rapid Assessment Process and OBRA assessments. I prioritize my work as a role, rather than a series of tasks to ensure patients’ needs are met and to support patients whose needs may exist outside existing policies or guidelines in an ever changing and highly regulated healthcare environment. I Embrace technology because it provides us with the data needed to advocate for patients, and to influence healthcare policy and how healthcare is delivered. I am comfortable discussing difficult information and providing emotional support to families. I am proficient in case management and patient and family education. I believe in easing collaborative communication among the disciplinary team, active participation with the nurses on my team and the patients we provide care for. I am eager to offer my level of knowledge, advanced skill set and insight to a healthcare position that fits my interests and abilities both personally and professionally.
