As Processor, Underwriter, Underwriting Manager or Credit Director for 25 years the mortgage business has been my passion. I have been heavily involved in working with changes in the industry and applying them within underwriting divisions. There have been so many changes in the industry within the past 10 years, and I have worked to update manuals, best practices and underwriting systems to incorporate the legal, GSE, and secondary market changes that have happened seemingly overnight.
