About Catie Bryant

I recently graduated from the University of Denver with a double major in Emergent Digital Practices & German alongside a minor in Studio Art. I completed my degree with a distinction of excellence within my German major for my thesis project titled “Berlin’s Architecture: A Historical and Contemporary Exploration of Culture”, which focused on how Berlin’s architecture alongside different layers of culture contributes to the city’s unique identity. Additionally, during my time at the University of Denver, I had the privilege of installing various pieces of my work, both digital, print, and ceramic, in various exhibitions hosted by spaces such as Redline Contemporary Art Center and Boulder Public Library. One of the most valuable experiences I have had in the artistic realm has been collaborating with Professor and Artist Laleh Mehran in creating pieces for an exhibition titled "Woman, Life, Freedom: Free Iran". This show has not only been hosted locally by the University of Denver as well as Redline Contemporary Art Center in Denver but has also traveled to Pratt University and UC Berkeley. Learning to utilize design to initiate vital conversations within and beyond the DU community has been extremely rewarding. Currently, I am working as the Development and Communications Assistant at the Evanston Art Center, but am open to freelance work. Portfolio Website: catiebryant.net
