About Catie Cooper

The abbreviated version: Professionally, I work as a creative designer at TiER1, a consultancy. Personally, I'm a photographer, intersectional feminist, thrifter, and cat-enthusiast. You can find my work on my personal website, notcatiecooper.com, or at xplane.com. The expanded version: I was born & raised in a small town north of Philadelphia, PA. You can tell by the way I say “water” and “crayon,” and my innate need to speed walk everywhere. I have lived & worked out of Portland, OR for the last decade. This is apparent because of my penchant for paddle boarding, and the way I (now) say “Nevada.” I currently hold a B.A. in Studio Art: Photography from Pacific University (Spring 2015) and a B.A. in Graphic Design from Portland State University (Spring 2019). I am open to a wide variety of freelance work, but I find myself consistently coming back to mission-driven work and passion projects. I love the opportunity to lend my design skillset to support those working toward social, racial, and environmental justice, as well as alongside musicians and other creatives.
