About Catriona Spence

Project Manager with extensive experience, currently working in charity sector. Aiming to use skills to make a difference in the U.K. and wider! Currently working as a PM for Ambition Institute, an organisation that aims to support teachers from state schools across the county to better serve children from disadvantaged backgrounds. I manage the yearly operating plan for the company, and develop change processes to ensure that we pivot towards opportunities. I also ensure that long-term strategies are operationalised in realistic, motivational goals for the company. Originally I started on the Graduate Scheme in United Utilities, where I completed rotating placements across the business for 3 years. This allowed me to gain a great understanding of the water industry and develop leadership skills. Mainly focused on emergency resilience/response, as well as being a key player in key external relationships for the organisation. Further worked on managing a large internal transformation programme, and business strategy. Outside of work I am a fosterer for rescue cats for a local charity.
