I currently work as a Clinical Nurse II at Stanford Medicine on the AAU K7 Trauma Unit. I worked as a Registered Nurse at Pacific Heights Transitional Care for 1 year. At this role I developed a wide array of skills and knowledge, including assessing patients, communicating and working with the interdisciplinary team, and implementing nursing interventions to facilitate positive health outcomes. I also acquired a greater understanding of the steps and education required to safely discharge a patient from a health care facility. Prior to this position I worked as a Student Nurse Extern in an Intensive Care Unit. At this role I gained confidence with my critical thinking, time management, and nursing skills. By working directly with patients who require critical care, I learned how to accurately and efficiently complete head to toe assessments, manage 2+ patient's care, and how to accurately and timely intervene when needed. During nursing school I had clinical experiences on the following units: Medical-Surgical, CVU, PACU, ED, OR, Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, NICU, Behavioral Health (Adult and Adolescent), School Nursing, Home Health, and Hospice. I have active certifications in the following: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS I worked as a CNA for 3 years before I received my nursing license.
