About Cayla Gavin

I'm a motivated, passionate NIU alumni who recently graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelor's in Human Resource Management. With nearly a year of corporate HR experience in a Learning and Development role, I'm excited to start my career and to apply the skills I've learned to contribute to the success of another organization! I'm very team-oriented and a hard worker, I take pride in my work and strive to do my best in all my endeavors. This is evident by my graduating with a 4.0 GPA despite constantly working multiple jobs and being in school full-time. Additionally, I love getting involved and meeting new people! I served as the President of Women in Business Professions, a student organization at NIU committed to uplifting women in business, and was actively engaged in the club for 2 years.I've worked a variety of different jobs - from Organizational Development Intern to Salon Janitor - while pursuing my education, and am excited to apply the skills I've learned in each of these to my career. I'd love to connect with other motivated and inspired business professionals!
