About Cayla Karran

As a Public Health graduate, I aspire to be someone that can make a positive impact on the physical and mental health of the families around me and the community as a whole. At the University of South Florida, I have learned so much and continue to grow my knowledge about mental health, societal health issues, problem solving, and working with diverse populations both through my coursework and my extracurriculars. In my time at USF, I joined a number of organizations, where I use the knowledge I have learned as well as my teamwork skills to educate others on important topics and used my organizational and communication skills to coordinate and execute service projects. I am very enthusiastic to embark in my journey in Public Health to use my skills and knowledge to serve and benefit the communities and families around me.
