About Cayla Stevens

I am an experienced occupational therapist serving over 10 years in the medical field with an extensive background along the continuum of care. My experience includes home health, acute care, inpatient rehab, assisted living and skilled nursing. As a result, I am able to adapt and thrive in new situations and have acquired both case management and quality assurance skills. Furthermore, I am both trained and skilled in numerous documentation systems executing both appropriateness and quality. My professional highlights include assisting management in transitioning to a new documentation system while training staff, offering medicaid-covered services to those who qualify for nursing home care in an aging in place program and performing internal marketing while conducting needs assessments for therapy services. I have enjoyed growing as a clinician and my passion for the field entices me to continue learning. In order to assist in further improving healthcare outcomes, I have been led to diversify my skills and forge a new path into health coaching and functional nutrition. After becoming an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner, I have acquired the knowledge to perform root cause analysis in order to more precisely promote healing. I am passionate about offering personalized nutrition plans based on DNA testing and look forward to growing my business as the Regenerative Root.
