About Caylen Duke

Bridging the gap between art and science. I use my creative and analytical skills together to help establish new areas of growth and revenue in social media, be it through brand new platforms or through optimization. Understanding platform algorithms is key to enhancing content and distribution strategies that resonate with user bases in meaningful ways to increase a brand's reach and increase revenue. I believe in building communities and establishing strong foundations for brands on which they can develop and evolve. I have almost a decade of scientific research experience, wherein I demonstrated creativity in experimental design, competence in performing and analyzing experiments, and the ability to research and to amalgamate large quantities of complicated information into one cohesive story in my manuscripts. In December 2016, I received my Ph.D in Psychology, specializing in Behavioural and Cognitive Neuroscience. Awarded the prestigious Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarship ($ by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. During my graduate career, I have been published multiple times peer-reviewed scientific journals, and since then have published all of my former work. I am an effective independent worker, who shows initiative and self-discipline to complete tasks to a high standard. I also have extensive experience working in a collaborative lab environment, wherein I both gave and took direction from colleagues and supervisors to achieve a common goal. I have fine-tuned my communication skills through writing and public speaking. I have extensive experience giving oral presentations in seminar settings to principal investigators and fellow students, as well as experience communicating my research findings at scientific conferences, by means of poster presentations and an oral presentation to an audience of 150 researchers following the receipt of a travel award.
