I am currently filming, editing & voicing short films fighting Female Genital Mutilation, directing shoots in Africa, cutting WhatsApp videos from the grassroots activists, working with animators and editing on Adobe. Before this, I had a career in TV as a Producer/Director & Series Producer of creative, stylish & insightful documentaries, with over 20 years experience of making prime time programmes for all the major UK broadcasters & some international ones. Having made 47 individual films, a few award winning, my work ranges from thought-provoking social documentaries about marriage, murder, heroin, debt, how to spot a liar, wet nursing & prostitution to popular factual formats including ‘Secret Millionaire’, ‘Ramsay’s Best Restaurant’ & blockbuster shows like ‘Survivor’. I’ve worked with major celebrities but am just as happy getting down & dirty filming drug addicts on the streets. I get the best out of anyone, no matter their background.
