About Ceaser Kimbugwe

I am a Researcher and programme development specialist with a Masters’ degree in Environment and Natural Resources management from Uganda. I am motivated by the aspiration to achieve equity and lasting positive change on humanity through development work. My experience is largely drawn from working with the civil society where I have provided technical assistance to government entities across different social development sectors such as forestry, climate change, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). For the past five years, I have built a career niche and capabilities around facilitating WASH systems strengthening to realise sustainability. I have strong capabilities in stakeholder coordination and engagement in policy processes the development of the national climate change policy and implementation strategy as well as the development of national standards for forest certification in Uganda based of the FSC standards and principles, the SDG 6 reference manual for Uganda and national guidelines for WASH in healthcare facilities.
