About Cecil Carl

I am a dedicated radiation oncologist and strategy consultant with passion for the future development of healthcare systems and realization of a high quality, needs-based and affordable medical care for industrialized but also developing countries. My work and research in cancer therapy have awakened in me the desire, on the one hand, to make the rapid medical progress available to patients in need in the long term in an affordable way and, on the other hand, to provide developing regions in the world with pragmatic solutions to make many therapies already established in our country possible at low cost. Through my work as a strategy consultant in Roland Berger's healthcare practice, I am able to develop a deeper understanding of healthcare systems and support German hospitals in their medical transformation into a modern, increasingly outpatient market. Digitization and the use of AI-based applications play a central role and show new ways for the future.
