About Cecile Ney

What gets me out of bed in the morning? Using my energy to support changemakers who are making the world a better place. While I am not an entrepreneur, I strive to support them effectively! I am passionate about finding ways to align business and sustainability in a practical approach. Currently I am exploring how to incorporate impact into small business support methodologies and how the creation of jobs impacts society at large especially in crisis-affected areas. I firmly believe we need to apply the same rigor to impact management as we do to financial management. I used to teach social entrepreneurship to undergraduate students, and volunteer organizing online workshops on skills to enter the job market for Nicaraguan youth and mentoring young social entrepreneurs. In my free time I love cycling and hiking with my dogs.
