As the Director of Access & Engagement at Safe Place for Youth, I lead a team of passionate professionals who provide comprehensive and holistic services to homeless and at-risk youth in LA county. I have a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management and a Nationally Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist credential, which enable me to design and implement effective and evidence-based interventions that address the complex needs of our clients. With over 5 years of experience in the public health sector, I have developed a strong skill set in vision development, program execution, stakeholder collaboration, and outcome measurement. I have successfully built and maintained partnerships with various community organizations, government agencies, and funding sources, resulting in increased access, engagement, and retention of youth in our programs. My mission is to leverage my leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities to create positive and lasting impact for the youth we serve and the communities we support.
