Real estate and community development professional with a diverse and substantiated skill set that includes financial analysis, underwriting, project management, banking, and client relations experience. Results driven and passionate about helping to create economically and physically sustainable development projects that have lasting community benefits. I presently serve on the Board of Directors for Invest Newark, formally known as The Newark Community Economic Development Corporation (NCEDC). In this role, I assist in overseeing both the facilitation of loans for small businesses and the planning of real estate development projects in New Jersey's largest city. As a board member I am also presently overseeing the organization's transition into a Land banking entity. A successful transition of NCEDC/Invest Newark will allow the City of Newark to acquire and maintain vacant and abandoned properties, and subsequently dispose of them in ways that ensure they are redeveloped or reused for long-term community benefit. Beyond my professional background in finance, real estate, and community development, I am very passionate about mentoring youth in underserved communities.
