I currently lead a global Legal department that I built from the ground up, starting solo and now managing a team of four professionals covering Europe, North America, LATAM, and APAC. I established all the procedures, reporting systems, and tools, fostering a flexible management style that empowers my team through trust in their autonomy and encouragement of their initiatives. Compliance, aligned with a long-term growth objective, is not a hindrance as it is often portrayed, but rather an opportunity to build enduring foundations for the company's sustainable development. The current legal and tax environment, increasingly fragmented and complex, has become the primary obstacle to international growth. This is particularly true for online service providers with limited resources. However, it is possible to address these challenges with a comprehensive strategic approach, anticipating the impact of regulatory changes and streamlining compliance efforts—especially by developing in-house compliance technologies. Finally, I am committed to maintaining effective working relationships with authorities and administrations in the world, having repeatedly observed the positive outcomes this brings for a company.
