About Cees Valentijn
Sinds 2019 ben ik met veel enthousisme werkzaam als docent op de opleiding fysiotherapie in Leiden (HsL). Vanaf schooljaar 21-22 ben ik verantwoordelijk voor de coordinatie van de aftekentoetsen van het eerste jaar. Daarnaast ben ik verantwoordelijk voor de open dagen en proefstudeerdagen en het Promoteam fysiotherapie. Vanaf augustus 2023 ben ik fulltime docent en heb ik zitting genomen in de examencommissie Gezondheidszorg kamer fysiotherapie. Ik heb 21 jaar als sportfysiotherapeut en master manueel therapeut met verschillende tools in mijn vaardighedenpakket gewerkt. In mijn toolbox zaten naast de kennis uit de bachelor o.a. Functional movement systems, kinesiotaping en Dry Needling. Deze gebruik ik, vanuit de visie dat bewegen het beste medicijn is wat er. Mijn specialiteit ligt op het patellofemorale knieklachten spectrum en daarnaast is mijn interesses vooral gericht op wervelkolomgerelateerde klachten.
