About Celeste Baker
Bread Head was founded in 2016 by Celeste Baker. She is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Paris. Celeste is active in nonprofit work dedicating her time to helping the recently housed and housing insecure community learn and improve on food literacy skills to help empower people with a sense of self efficacy. By doing this, she believes there are opportunities for re defining negative self narratives. Celeste believes that everyone who lives within a community has a voice, and deserves the opportunity to be heard and seen. She believes the social architecture of a community has many different faces and voices and because of this Celeste is dedicated to helping individuals thrive to help the community prosper. Bread Head is a 501c3 dedicated to alleviating food insecurity, promoting food literacy, and fostering community among young people, individuals and families, through culinary life skills classes, delivered in a supportive, nurturing environment.
