About Celeste Edell
I'm currently a second-year UC Berkeley student pursuing a double major in Conservation & Resource Studies and Ecosystem Management & Forestry. I'm particularly interested in how hydrology intersects with forest ecosystems, in California and beyond. I'm also studying the disproportionate impact that these changing systems have on different communities. I've worked with Wholly H2O, Citizen's Climate Lobby, the Berkeley Student Food Collective, the Pasadena Water Department, and the League of Women Voters. In these groups I've focused on managing local natural resources and lobbying for more ambitious climate regulations. I hope to gain more experience in Earth Science, satellite imaging, and other field work to better understand the threats that will impact California's environments, and hope to continue promoting awareness about climate change.
