I have an aquatic science and population genomics background and am passionate about the application of genomics technologies for furthering genetic improvement in aquaculture and genetic management of wild fisheries. In my current position I am responsible for overseeing and coordinating all genomics-related services and operations at Blue Analytics. This includes daily operations of the genomics service provision lab, quality control coordination, resource management and client communication. My research career focused on using genomic technologies to identify genome regions underlying traits of importance in aquaculture and wild populations and the development and implementation of genomic screening to improve the sustainability of aquaculture industries and monitor aquaculture escapees in the wild.
