About Celeste Lynch

I am a bilingual rising senior at Wake Forest University with a passion for diplomacy, currently majoring in Political Science and International Affairs with minors in Arabic and Middle East/South Asia Studies. I am greatly interested in international conflict resolution and stabilization. At Wake Forest, I am involved with various international affairs groups, such as Model United Nations and the Alexander Hamilton Society. I have served as the Regional Expert Coordinator,Social Media chair, and Vice President for Model United Nations, and am currently the President. I previously served as the Diversity and Inclusion Chair for Wake Forest's Alexander Hamilton Society Chapter, as well as the Professional Development Chair. Outside of international affairs, I am passionate about public service and giving back to the community. I am currently the Community Service Chair for the Organization of Latin American Students and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair for the Kappa Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, the co-ed service fraternity. These positions have fueled my desire to increase representation of Latinas in public service, especially on an international scale. Outside of Wake Forest, I have worked as an Americorps Summer Associate at Crosby Scholars, a college-access organization for public school students. Last summer, I interned at the US Department of State. My professional goal is to become a Foreign Service Officer. I hope to develop my knowledge of international affairs to take part in creating a more equitable and stable world.
