About Celeste Melliship

I currently work at BGC Engineering as a GIS Analyst where I produce high quality GIS deliverables, like report figures and metrics, for a wide variety of projects and clients. I am an alumnae of the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and the University of British Columbia (UBC). At BCIT I completed the GIS Advanced Diploma Program with Distinction and at UBC I completed my undergraduate degree in Arts and Majored in Geography (Environment and Sustainability). In addition to my academic studies, I successfully completed three four-month long work positions through the UBC Arts Co-op Program and did a one-semester exchange in Auckland, New Zealand through UBC's Go Global program. My experience includes GIS, working with geospatial data, cartography, problem solving, coding, administrative support, and account management. I am hard-working, bring a positive attitude to the work place, and enjoy pushing myself to excel with whatever I am tasked with. I am a quick learner and am adaptable. I am passionate about GIS and the environment and hope to make a positive difference in the world around me.
