About Celeste Nieman

Celeste works on the Strategic Operations for Business Technologies team where she provides strategic process and technology solutions to address the business needs of IPG offices globally. Interpublic Group (IPG) is a global provider of marketing solutions. She develops and analyzes key performance indicators, communicates the findings to the Finance leads and recommends areas or processes for improvement. She partners with the SAP users to document enhancements and issues, translates the business requirements to the SAP product development team, tests new functionality and ensures the solution aligns with best practices. Celeste has managed the process of implementing new systems including financial, payroll, human resource, resource management and travel & expense. She enjoys converting data and creating system integrations. She has experience in all phases of the project life cycle including requirements gathering, risk analysis, project planning, scheduling, testing, defect tracking, management, training and reporting. She is a certified Project Management Professional. Prior to her roles in project management and systems, Celeste had various responsibilities in the Finance departments. She was the Assistant Controller at the local office and corporate levels. She has a strong understanding of the daily, monthly and fiscal responsibilities surrounding all aspects of financial planning, accounting and reporting. She has her bachelor's degree in Accounting and her MBA in Finance.
