ARKANSAS PHARMACISTS ASSOCIATION JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Director of Administrative Services Responsible to: Executive Director & CEO Basic Function The Director of Administrative Services (DAS) assists the Executive Director & CEO and the COO of the Arkansas Pharmacists Association. The DAS handles the human resources in the office. Provides staff supervision and direction for designated staff. Helps with the planning and coordinating of the events and meetings. The DAS is responsible for maintaining the first impression of all members and visitors to the APA by welcoming them either in person or on the phone. The DAS is responsible for maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable for the APA and APF and is charged with ensuring that all internal accounting is conducted accurately and that records are kept in a modern system. The DAS is also the primary contact with the APA’s external accountants. Additionally, the DAS is responsible for ensuring that the APA office and Hosto Conference Center remain adequately supplied for all appropriate functions. The DAS will also collaborate with other departments within the association and will assist with other projects.
