Background

About Celia Chirnside

I am a qualified Urban Planner, currently working as a Project Manager with Turner & Townsend. I am very detail minded and take a structured approach to ensure that deadlines are met, and no tasks are overlooked. I am always willing to learn, I work closely with more experienced colleagues and mentors to gain as much knowledge and skills as possible for each new responsibility. I have gained valuable experience in the delivery of projects in the Commercial sectors, building strong relationships with both contractors and colleagues and providing valuable support to the greater project team. As a result, I have developed strong skills in stakeholder management, design and value management, contract understanding and financial management. My career path has also strengthened my expertise in Heritage Planning and major Urban Planning projects, and I have accumulated a thorough understanding in Development Plans, Planning Rules and Regulations. The combination of Urban Planning skills and the capability to manage projects effectively means I add value to a project from concept through to handover.
