About Celia Crompton

As a current Master of Social Work (MSW) student at Boston College, I am dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and communities. My journey began at Northwestern University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Psychology while fencing for their Division I team. My research during undergrad sparked what has become a lifelong goal of incorporating evidence-based interventions into clinical practice. With hands-on experience as a Victim Witness Advocate Intern at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, I support disabled and elderly victims through the legal process, employing trauma-informed approaches. My previous role as a Community Support Specialist for Thresholds in Chicago honed my skills in case management and crisis intervention for individuals with severe mental illness, allowing me to coordinate care and advocate for their needs. I also have experience with performing assessments and efficient clinical documentation.
