About Celia Modell

As a Forensic Toxicologist at South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) for over six years, I contribute to the advancement of forensic science and justice by validating methods and analyzing antemortem and postmortem samples using cutting-edge techniques and instruments, such as liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC-QTOF). I am certified by the American Board of Forensic Toxicologists in Forensic Toxicology (ABFT-FT-D) and a member of the Society of Forensic Toxicologist, demonstrating my commitment to excellence and continuous learning in my field. My goal is to provide reliable, accurate, and timely results that can assist in the investigation and prosecution of criminal cases. I also collaborate with other forensic professionals and share my knowledge and experience through training and mentoring.
