Background

About Celina Caesar-Chavannes

I help leaders, institutions, and systems evolve—with science, soul, and strategy. As a former Member of Parliament and Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister, I’ve worked inside the highest levels of government. Today, as a sought-after international speaker, consultant, and PhD candidate in neuroscience, I translate complex ideas—like cognitive consistency, identity, and power—into tools for transformation in boardrooms, classrooms, and communities. Currently, I serve as Executive Director of CCEDNet, where we champion inclusive economic development across Canada. My work focuses on leadership development, cognitive retraining, equity strategy, and purpose-driven decision-making. Whether I’m advising organizations, coaching executives, or offering political analysis in the media, I bring a rare blend of lived experience, academic depth, and unapologetic truth-telling. I speak regularly on leadership, belonging, anti-oppression, and how neuroscience can help us restore trust, drive innovation, and reimagine systems that actually serve people. Available for keynote speaking, strategic consulting, and media commentary on leadership, justice, and systems change.
