About Celina Vides

I am a community-driven arts administrator, freelance consultant, culture omnivore, and artist based in Mohkinstsis. With over a decade of experience in the arts sector, I bring a wealth of knowledge and creativity to my work. Currently, I serve as an Industry Specialist at the Calgary International Film Festival (CIFF), where I curate and produce engaging live events for Industry Week. Additionally, I am also privileged to be undertaking a residency as a Features Programmer with CIFF, delving into curatorial practices and actively contributing to the 2024 program under the mentorship of the festival's Artistic Director and Lead Programmer. I am deeply committed to community involvement and serve as a board member of the Immigrant Council for Arts Innovation (ICAI). Through this work, I actively contribute to bridging opportunities for immigrant artists and arts administrators within the vibrant Alberta arts scene.
