ABOUT ME: I live in Dallas with a dog named Maxwell Smart, a cat named Barney Fife, and enough books to count as a third roommate. I'm happiest when my calendar is full of new experiences and creative work, but not too packed to take a long walk when the weather's nice or savor my morning coffee without worrying I'm falling behind. More than anything, my mission is to live a happy life and help others do the same. But before this starts sounding too much like a dating profile. ABOUT MY CAREER: I've loved writing for as long as I can remember. I earned a bachelor’s in creative writing at 20 and then worked my way up through the ranks as a communications intern, QC specialist, copy editor, copywriter, and senior copywriter before landing my current role as a marketing communications manager. In my nine years of experience, I’ve written and managed marketing communications across all channels for ad agencies, in-house marketing teams, and freelance clients.(You name it, I've probably done it—even writing scripts for a chicken named Gilly.) I know it sounds like a LinkedIn cliché—but I really do love what I do. I'm honored to help people and brands get their stories out there, and I'll never stop working to get better at it.
