About Celine Sargent

Celine Sargent is an experienced leader in the events space with a speciality in launching and producing large-scale conventions in international markets. She is currently producing the upcoming VidCon Anaheim event in June 2025 after spending the last 7 years overseeing the organization and expansion of the VidCon brand in all non-US territories: VidCon London, VidCon Australia, VidCon Mexico, VidCon Abu Dhabi, VidCon Asia, and VidCon Sao Paulo. The VidCon veteran joined the company in 2016 as part of the company’s first foray into the international space, launching VidCon Amsterdam in 2017. Since then, she has spearheaded the production and execution of two iterations each of VidCon London and VidCon Australia. In Melbourne, Celine focused her energy on bringing the magic of VidCon to life through strategic partnerships with local government agencies and brands. An avid believer in inspiring and investing in the next generation of leaders, Celine put her passion into practice by developing and shepherding a partnership with RMIT University to build VidCon Australia into the 2019 spring semester curriculum. Prior to VidCon, she ran operations for a security consulting company providing crowd control & logistics plans to some of the largest US-based conventions including VidCon, ComicCon San Diego, WonderCon, BlizzCon, National Association of Realtors, The American Society of Hematology, The American Society of Clinical Oncology, and Supercomputing. Celine began her career 15 years ago as an event management intern at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL and instantly found her calling in the world of live events. Celine attended the University of Central Florida Rosen School of Hospitality Management in Orlando, FL. where she graduated magna cum laude, on the Dean’s List.
