About Cengiz Eric

Attained my Transport Canada certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M2 license in May 2022, at the age of 22. As an apprentice, I have performed a wide range of maintenance tasks on many types of helicopters. From basic servicing in the field on BH-212 and AS350-B3 types with LR Helicopters, to performing heavy maintenance and overhaul on components at Eagle Copters. As a TC licensed AME, I have attained a TC approved Bell 205A1 type course, accompanied with a T-53 engine type course. Based on my experience with Eagle Copters performing rebuild projects, I have a high level of understanding of the Bell-Medium type aircraft. In addition to work on Bell Mediums, I have also been a part of work orders on Sikorsky S-76 and AW-139 types at Eagle. During my time with Guardian Helicopters, I have completed a 12-year inspection/rebuild on an AS350-B2, solidifying my skills on Airbus Helicopters as well. With Guardian Helicopters I have spent time in the field as a licensed engineer on Bell 205A1 type helicopters assisting in wildfire suppression. In this role, I was responsible for maintenance planning, performing inspections, component replacement and ensuring the helicopters stay mission ready. Working in the field has further enhanced my understanding of the maintenance on aircraft. While working in adverse conditions and environments, I can still maintain a high level of professionalism and attentiveness. I take great pride in being a conscientious person and perform as such. I am always looking to gain more knowledge and advance my abilities in all skills required of me to perform my job as an AME to the fullest.
