About Cesar Astudillo

Dr. César Astudillo stands out not only for his Ph.D. in Computational Sciences from the prestigious Carleton University in Canada but also for his solid foundation as a Civil Computer Engineer, a degree he earned at the University of Concepción, Chile. This combination of advanced education has laid the groundwork for his distinguished research career. With over a decade dedicated to research in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Dr. Astudillo has developed a multidisciplinary approach that merges the design of new algorithms with practical applications in engineering. This innovative approach has resulted in over 40 publications in prestigious scientific journals and conferences. Dr. Astudillo has participated in three editions of the Congreso Futuro, the most important scientific dissemination event in Chile, where he has shared his knowledge and perspectives on artificial intelligence. In addition, he has collaborated in the creation of two nationally patented inventions and one international invention currently in the process of application. Currently, Dr. Astudillo serves as a professor at the University of Talca and is the president of the Chilean Association of Pattern Recognition. He is also a member of the steering committee of both the International Association of Pattern Recognition and the Ibero-American Conference on Pattern Recognition (CIARP), reaffirming his leadership in the field of artificial intelligence and pattern recognition.
