About Cesar Barrientos

As an optimistic self starter and persistent opportunity seeker, I can safely say that I am at my best when I'm improving. I currently work in the finance industry as a Relationship Banker at Chase, and I have been with company for over 3 years. Starting as an intern, I worked my way up to my current position, obtaining FINRA certifications such as the SIE, Series 6, Series 63, and a Life Insurance certification. With that being said, finance isn’t the only career I want to build. My first memory as a child was listening to music, and I’ve been in love ever since. I told myself I would do everything possible to allow myself to be surrounded in it, so I made a move to New York in January 2022. Since then, I have been involved with supporting musical acts such as Ernest Rareberrg, Binki, and director Sheheryar Bunairee. I am personally involved in a contemporary folk duo, currently only performing live with no stage name. I am also involved with creating a soundtrack for a short film by Sheheryar Bunairee, and collaborating with experimental breakcore artist Hero Apparition. I am extremely passionate about every aspect of music, whether it’s the creation, presentation or admiration of it. And of course, doing this while maintaining my career in finance. I am open to work in the music space in a greater capacity, and I would love to apply the interpersonal skills and experience from finance into the music operations business.
