About Cesar Brea

Cesar has over 20 years of experience in the Telecom industry, and is currently Senior Manager at Verizon’s Technology & Product Development organization, managing a team responsible for Product Engineering, Operations and Delivery for Business and Public Sector products. His areas of responsibility include AWS cloud security, operations, compliance, and product life-cycle management. Cesar has developed products that have earned industry awards for innovation and that span the full technology stack from hardware, software, web, mobile app, device management, and network connectivity. Prior to his current role, Cesar worked on the engineering and deployment of LTE Multicast, a first of its kind wireless network platform that delivered multi-media content to mobile users in a very efficient method leveraging one-to-many network distribution technology. Cesar started in the Network Engineering organization, first in the field, engineering voice and broadband network infrastructure, and afterwards engineering the FiOS video network. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University, and a Masters Degree in Telecommunications Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. In his personal time, Cesar enjoys biking, jogging and going to the shore with his family. He is fluent in Spanish. Cesar was Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic region of the Hispanic employee resource group of Verizon from 2014 to 2017.
