About Cesar Haro

With more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, supervision, molding, and tooling, I am a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Dexcom, a global leader in continuous glucose monitoring systems. I hold a CRM certification from Tecnológico de Monterrey and I am pursuing a Polymer/Plastics Engineering degree from UC San Diego.At Dexcom, I support the plastic injection molding and tooling team in developing and implementing advanced materials and processes for the company's innovative medical devices. I work closely with R&D engineering teams in the early phases of injection molding process development and tooling to drive Dexcom's products' quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. I have successfully led, supported, and managed multiple tooling and molding projects, adhering to good engineering and documentation practices and liaising between engineering, production, quality, and maintenance departments. I have also transferred production lines, launched new products, designed fixtures, trained personnel, and procured tooling from South East Asia. I have extensive knowledge and skills in drawing software, Microsoft office, Minitab, SAP, Oracle, Agile, conventional and assist gas molding, two plates mold, lean manufacturing techniques, and DOE. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and I can work with top-level management and diverse teams.My mission is to contribute to Dexcom's vision of empowering people to take control of their diabetes by providing them with reliable, accurate, and user-friendly devices. I am passionate about applying my engineering expertise and creativity to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality solutions.
