As a manager of a team of successful financial analysts for one of the world’s largest hospitality-based organizations, I direct the month-end closing process and coordinate multiple deadlines for the theme park’s corporate office. My financial oversight also includes the tracking of monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow forecasting. In addition to creating the annual operating budget plan, and providing updated estimates throughout the year, I provide quarterly financial reporting to parent company. Recognized for meeting strict deadlines and working with various business units throughout my progressive career, my successful track record has brought me numerous, high-level assignments that have brought me additional accolades from senior management. After preparing the executive reporting package for the monthly financial review, I facilitated meetings with park presidents and senior executive staff. In addition, after my preparation and review of monthly consolidated AR aging analysis, to monitor aged invoices, we provided a solution to improve company cash flow. Providing feedback to a variety of process improvement issues, I was instrumental in creating a process narrative, risk control matrix, and communicate recommendations for process improvement.
