Works in the development of technological solutions for food with the company White Board Foods, Ottawa Canada. He has 10 years of teaching experience at the State University of Londrina, in the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology. He collaborates with the University-Private Sector interaction within the Chemistry and Materials governance of the Londrina Innovation Ecosystem. Coordinator of the Innovation, Technology and Business Event - INOVATEC.CCE for diagnosis and dissemination of potential interactions between researchers and the productive sector. He was a guest researcher at the Pelling Lab, Dept. of Physics at the University of Ottawa (Canada) interacting with the local innovation system. He coordinated the Biochemistry and Biotechnology Symposium with the theme: Biotechnology Productive Chains. Post-Doctorate in 2010 at the Center de Recherche sur les Macromolecules Végétales - CERMAV, Grenoble-France, focusing on nanotechnologies, SEM, TEM, X-Ray Diffraction and Solid State Nuclear Magnetic Resonance of Cellulose Crystals. He was manager of the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Laboratory at UNIVALI (Itajaí-SC) for research and development of new drugs. PhD in Biochemistry, structural analysis of glycoconjugates in 2002. Graduated in Industrial Pharmacy at the Federal University of Paraná. He publishes and is reviewer of journal articles in the areas of Biochemistry, structural analysis of carbohydrates and in Nanotechnology Techniques. He coordinates research projects, participating as a collaborator and researcher and in research networks with UFPR, University of Ottawa and other institutions. Fluent in English and French and communicates in German.
