With over two decades of global experience in the technology sector, I am Engineer who embarked on a journey that began in swiftly transitioning into management roles as of 2011. Based in Mexico, my professional odyssey has taken me across diverse regions including APAC, NAM, and EMEA, affording me a rich understanding of global technology landscapes. In my management journey, I have consistently demonstrated a passion for improving service level agreements and optimizing support services. My expertise extends to leading complex global projects, where my hands-on approach has been instrumental in overcoming challenges and delivering successful outcomes. Having traversed through the diverse markets of APAC, NAM, EMEA, and being rooted in Mexico, I possess a nuanced understanding of the unique technological demands within each region. This global exposure has not only enriched my professional repertoire but has also enabled me to adapt strategies to fit regional intricacies. As of October 2024, I’ve taken on a global leadership role in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), leading a team within Cloud Operations with a dedicated focus on Cloud Host Repairs. In this role, my team is responsible for driving the health, reliability, and repair of cloud compute hosts that support customer workloads across Oracle’s global cloud infrastructure. Our mission is to proactively detect, diagnose, and remediate hardware-related issues within the cloud fleet—ensuring maximum uptime and service quality across all Oracle Cloud regions. Previously reporting directly to a Senior Director, my role involved engaging in high-level conversations and presenting project statuses at the Vice President level. This direct interaction with leadership reflects my ability to articulate technical intricacies in a business context, ensuring alignment between technological initiatives and organizational goals. My passion lies in leveraging technology to drive positive business outcomes.
