As a seasoned Electrical Engineer with over 8 years of experience in clean energy system projects, I specialize in energy storage and renewable energy sources. My expertise encompasses the entire spectrum of project development, including DC-coupled battery storage systems and solar photovoltaic systems. I excel in the engineering and design processes for energy storage and renewable energy systems, providing technical and moral guidance to teams of electrical engineers. Throughout my career, I have successfully collaborated with project developers on renewable energy initiatives, managing project schedules and deliverables across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Development phases. My proficiency in working with Procurement and Interconnection teams ensures efficient and economical project execution, while my skills in assessing, selecting, and acquiring large electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, and inverters contribute to the success of these projects. I am adept at conducting technical reviews, providing guidance, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. My experience extends to the innovative field of Agrivoltaics, where I design and implement systems that integrate solar panels with agricultural activities, optimizing land use for both energy production and crop cultivation. My technical skills include the use of application software such as AutoCAD and MS Office, as well as electrical engineering analysis and design software like PVsyst, PSSE, and PSCAD. I work closely with the electrical engineering team to review IFC and As-Built drawings, ensuring the delivery of suitable and efficient quality control. Currently, I am focused on furthering my expertise with certifications in AutoCAD and Revit from IMAGINIT Technologies. I am also pursuing my Professional Engineers of Ontario (P. Eng) license.
