Background
About Ceylan Rowe
I am an experienced social changemaker, having worked to eliminate barriers for women, girls and marginalized communities over the past two decades. I founded the Fihri Foundation, a non-profit working to fight period poverty worldwide. Each month, approximately 500 million people across the globe lack access to menstrual products and 1 in 4 students in the US are affected. Drawing on my BA in political science from Northeastern University, MBA from Babson College, as well as experience on various gender equality issues including as a former Commissioner for the MetroWest Commission on the Status of Women and State Representative candidate - I use my knowledge and influence towards creating a future where women and girls are not left behind because of their period.
