About Cezar Schroeder

With a robust background of 4+ years in software engineering management, my role at ília centers on steering a dynamic environment of multiple cross-functional teams of over 60 engineers and tech leads through the complexities of digital transformation in the automotive industry. Our collective efforts focus on delivering cutting-edge mobile and web applications, backend microservices, and engineering platforms, ensuring seamless integration from conceptualization to deployment. The collaboration with product managers and designers is pivotal in aligning technical solutions with overarching business objectives. Prior to my current leadership position, I honed my technical skills working for almost 10 years in the industry as a software engineer, culminating in a Tech Lead position at ília. Back then, I steered a team of 8 engineers through key technical decisions and high standards of code quality and efficiency for an impactful project in one of ília's biggest clients in the automotive sector. These experiences fortified my capability in fostering knowledge sharing and team development, while maintaining the alignment between technical, design, product, and business stakeholders. My commitment extends to interfacing with clients, fortifying key relationships, and contributing to pre-sales activities, thereby contributing to ília's reputation as a beacon of innovation in the tech landscape. In addition, I hold an Executive MBA degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, FGV. I also hold a Network Engineering degree from University of Brasilia, UnB. Brazil.
