About Chad Byrnes

Having received my Masters in English Literature in 2004, I believe my specialty lies in editing, writing and proofreading; skills which will never be outdated, even with the constantly changing technology. I learned the craft of writing, editing and proofreading in the Entertainment Industry. For most of my career I worked in the media in one form or another; mostly television. For a combined eight years, I worked at the renowned Spelling Television. It was my first important job after graduating from college and I moved up the ranks quite quickly to become a writer and head writer's assistant for the popular family show,"7th Heaven." After my long stint at Spelling TV, I decided I wanted to continue my education so I went went to Loyola Marymount University and acquired my Masters Degree in English Literature. While studying at LMU, I worked at several radio stations, writing stories for their websites, coordinating pledge drives and even going on air to promote concerts and various products. After acquiring my Masters Degree, I returned to Spelling TV and "7th Heaven" where I wrote two additional episodes, before the show was canceled in 2007. Soon, I was back searching for a job, and this time I was determined to find something that gave back to the community. Before I knew it, I was working for the American Humane Association's Film and TV Unit as a Production Coordinator. I have been a coordinator with the AHA for nearly six years now and I still find it challenging and rewarding. Overseeing the protection and welfare of animals on film and TV sets has exceeded my expectations and I have truly never worked harder. At this point, after working in and out of the Entertainment business, I know I am ready for the next challenge that will take me to places I never expected to be. I'm excited for the prospects!
