About Chad Clemons

For over 14 years, I have repeatedly showcased my ability to play a key leadership role within challenging pharmacy operations, driving them to achieve operational excellence while maintaining a critical focus on the safe and effective use of medications. At every career stop, I have designed and implemented operational solutions to eliminate redundancy, significantly reduce errors, and improve efficiency. Despite a growing reliance on technology, I realized early on that the human element is still the deciding factor in the success of pharmacy operations. As such, my focus has always been on creating a workplace environment that promotes professional development and team work. The insights I have gained into team building and dynamics have been critical in assembling, training, and leading strong teams that have the resources and knowledge to overachieve organizational expectations. As I have progressed in my career, I have become recognized as a highly resourceful leader and strategic organizer, building a well earned reputation for taking control of struggling operations and instituting the changes and training to take performance to new levels. Since joining Sam's Club Pharmacy, I have traveled to four different stores to serve as a "fixer", achieving great success with each. Senior management tapped me for the challenges based upon the success I had with turning around three Walmart pharmacy operations in my role as a Pharmacy Manager. At this point, I am pursuing new opportunities where my clinical, management, and team building skills can be leveraged, challenged, and further developed in a non-retail setting. Interests include pharmacy informatics, benefits management, or working in an inpatient facility utilizing Cerner or Epic systems. I bring a strong pharmacy leadership background, dedication to achieving operational excellence, and passion for professional development to the table for an organization.
