About Chad Collins

As a General Practitioner Liaison at Adelaide PHN, I contribute to the strategy, planning and performance of primary health care services in the region, with a focus on improving health outcomes and reducing health disparities. I have over 9 years of experience as a Specialist General Practitioner, providing quality care to diverse and complex patients in both urban and rural settings. I am passionate about fostering communication and collaboration between primary and tertiary care providers, especially in the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, where I served as a NALHN GP Liaison for 4 years. I am also an advocate for integrated health care, which aims to deliver coordinated, patient-centred, and holistic care across the continuum of health services. I have a strong background in medical education, having nearly completed a Master of Health Services Administration and working towards a Master of Business Administration (Healthcare Management) at Flinders University, as well as a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at The Australian National University. I am a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and have served as a Medical Officer in the Australian Army for over 10 years, including a deployment to Afghanistan as a Task Group Medical Officer.
