About Chad Davis

As the Director of Security and Compliance at Xevant, a fast-growing SaaS startup in the healthcare space, I led the Information Security and Compliance team to ensure the protection and integrity of our data, systems, and processes. I have more than 10 years of experience in internal audit, IT security management, governance, compliance, and risk management, with credentials in CISA and CISM. My mission is to reduce audit costs and failure rates, build trust with internal and external stakeholders, and identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact business objectives. I have successfully developed, maintained, and improved Xevant's Information Security program and strategy, aligned with various information security frameworks such as SOC 2, CIS, ISO NIST, and COBIT. I have also directed and overseen the assessment, selection, implementation, and maintenance of information security tools and technologies, as well as the enforcement of information security controls and the investigation and response to information security incidents. Additionally, I have led external audit efforts (SOC 2 Type 2 and penetration testing) and business continuity planning activities for our organization.
