About Chad Elkin

Professionally: Having started my career as a physician, I now enjoy the opportunity as Founder and President of National Addiction Specialists, a company offering addiction services by physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants for clients with opioid use disorder. I am board certified in Addiction Medicine and Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). I mentor others in the community through education of the opioid epidemic as Legislative Chairman and President-elect of the Tennessee Society of Addiction Medicine and Nationally as a member of the Practice Management and Regulatory Affairs Committee (PMRAC) of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). I also serve as the Medical Director of Mirror Lake Recovery Center, specializing in the treatment of addiction, overseeing the detox unit, supervising mid-level providers, and coordinating with administration to streamline medical processes. I am also the Addiction and Internal Medicine Liaison for Erlanger Mental Health Hospital in Chattanooga and East Tennessee Behavioral Health Facility in Knoxville. I am an eternal optimist and am a 7 on the enneagram scale, craving new adventures and experiences. I have a knack for accomplishing what others see as impossible and believe when I put my mind to something anything is possible. Personally: My passion outside of work is exercise (crossfit), competitive 4.5 tennis and pickleball, snow skiing, and watching Novak Djokovic destroy all tennis records to become the GOAT. I enjoy modern art, listening to jazz, and appreciate classic things. I love conversations with friends, choose uplifting success minded colleagues, am fiercely loyal, and try to figure out ways to help them win in business and life.
