About Chad Elly

Licensed Architect in the state of North Carolina with over 7 years of experience in the architectural design profession. My experience includes work in higher education, industrial, retail, workplace, healthcare and civic design. Master of Architecture from UNC Charlotte Bachelor of Science in Architecture & Sustainability from Ferris State University Bachelor of Science in Facility Management from Ferris State University I currently work for A M King as a senior designer. My previous work experience includes working for Fishbeck as a full time Architectural Intern in Grand Rapids, Michigan for 3 1/2 years, and an assistant project manager in Orlando Florida for Marriott Vacation Club in 2016. While attending Ferris State I was a member of IFMA (International Facility Management Association) and AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students). While a member of these organizations, I served as treasurer of Ferris State AIAS during the 2015-2016 school year, as well as Public Relations Coordinator during the 2014-2015 school year. I take pride in staying involved within my professions, and I am always searching for new ways to expand my knowledge, skill set, and network. I enjoy staying active, whether its through sports, exploring the outdoors, or community service.
