About Chad Embree

I’m a driven marketing professional with over 10 years of experience in product marketing management, product management, business strategy, and eCommerce. My previous experience with TELUS, where I was for six years, was focused around product management and pricing for Optik TV (a software-as-a-service like product, only your keyboard is your remote control). Prior to TELUS, I spent four years with Best Buy Canada on their eCommerce business team for Bestbuy.ca and Futureshop.ca, leveraging omnichannel strategies to improve web adoption and optimize conversion. I also have my own freelance consulting company where I help small and medium sized businesses define their marketing strategies (digital, print, email, web). Outside of work, I’m an avid hiker, runner, father to a loving puppy, and proud BC Lions fan. I give back to my community through mentorship of students at UBC and various other charity events. My side passion is anything food related: making it, eating it, or just talking about it.
